Having taught in an English Public School (i.e. a private school) for 22 years, I particularly enjoyed your American word: sticktoitiveness!
I have benefitted from your Guitar courses for years now (although I still cannot play well) and you have made me realise that I have a skill to offer over the web (jewellery making and silversmithing), and by treating it like you do with your guitar skills, along with your advertising tips, I could make money in an enjoyable way.

Great presentation. Well rounded general info to get you on the right path to start making a buck. Question is …I think you are using Wordpress for this presentation. Is that correct?
How do you put video in it and the writing via a pen over the screen shot? Also, there is Wordpress.org and Wordpress.com. Do you know what the difference is and which is best to use for a website?
Can you recommend any courses that you may have taken that were not scams to shed more info and any recommendations on any programs (software) that you used that really helped you out to be an affiliate?

I too started a small business in 1996, and grew it to $500K per year. It was fun, but I sold it in 2005. I’m starting it up again as of last month and look forward to good success once more. As a note to the fortitude needed, I can testify that your reference to it is spot on. Anyone who really works at this will be successful. If I could start a business with no money, no bank loan and make a success of it, then this should be very possible for the truly dedicated. This is exactly what made me successful for all those years and the years to come, God willing. I’ll have to study this closer, but you know, it would be a hobby business at this point for me. It may become more than that, but God will be the decider. I thank you for all the info you gave us all. PS I enjoy the guitar lessons too. Maybe one day my fingers will decide to listen to my head. I hope your own business is all the success mine was and will be.

It seems to me that niche markets are so dried up now that there is actually a niche market for people trying to get into niche markets. I don’t know if this makes sense, but to put it another way, it seems to me that people are now trying to sell the secrets of affiliate marketing (thus affiliate marketing has become its own niche market). From what i have read, it seems that there are a lot of late comers to the game (niche marketing really hit a high point back in the late 90’s, early 00’s, and is now at a low), and the old school Affiliate marketers/niche marketers are trying to sell affiliate marketing solutions/tools/info/etc.
Would you say this is true? Is there still money to be made off of Affiliate marketing? And how much for the amount of time you put into it? Just be real with us (no sales mombo-jumbo, which is what i like about you, you seem very honest and genuine, unlike most salesmen i know). For the amount of time spent putting affiliate marketing together, is it worth the money? Can you make the equivalent of $10 an hour? $15 an hour? $20 an hour? What is realistic? I know there are a lot of variables, but maybe some examples would help.

Really appreciate the information. I had been reading online sales pitch courses till I was blue in the face and none of them really told me how to do it. I had become very sceptical of the whole process. However, when I received the email from you I trusted you because of the integrity you had generated throught Guitar Secrets. And the way you explained internet business was in the same simple way you explain the guitar. Most people who explain the internet do not want you to find out the “holy grail” because they feel they would loose something. You however, do not have this quality and really share good information and empower everyone. Thanks so much. I will pass the info on.

All you need to do is to create a ClickBank ID, and then use that in the ClickBank Product that you choose to promote’s URL.
Example:

of which, is explained fully here:

To create a ClickBank ID, you have to go to clickbank.com
and click “Sign Up” and create your account.
It costs you nothing to sign up.
It only costs you money IF you are setting up a product
to sell yourself, such as, an ebook that you’ve written
already and have a website set up and almost ready to go.

This looks and sounds to good to be true, making money just sitting on my backside for eg: say 30 mins per day.
If the good people out there are thinking of setting up thier own web site then they will need to buy into a web hosting company to upload thier site to, which is another small outlay, but search around for the cheapest.
I will try this out Dan, so thanks for giving me the push in the right direction.

I missed seeing your emails, and now you are back. I know that you also have to make money for your family, and really do appreciate what you are doing for us all. Would it ever be possible to have you as a mentor and whatever money that is made is split 50/50 for the first year? Have you ever considered that? Dan, I have one question so far. I am up to Video 6. I have followed your directions to a “t”, and set up 3 new ads in Yahoo. Just like you said. Now, I am going into microsoftcenter.com, and I am having a problem signing up. Is anyone else having a problem with this? Not sure what I am doing wrong. They will not accept my email address as valid, and it is the correct one. Also they have not asked me for bank info either. Any suggestions. This has never happened to me before. I will continue to see if I can find out what is wrong, and hope that you or someone out there can help me with this. I want to not stop. Action is the word of the day.
